Crisis Grants for residents in a short-term crisis without the means to meet immediate needs. Community Care Grants for people setting up home after homelessness, leaving care or institutional settings, or facing exceptional pressure.

Awards: Crisis Grants usually £30–£100; Community Care Grants issued as items or vouchers.

Discretionary Housing Payment

UC or Housing Benefit claimants with a rent shortfall. Priority for households with children, disabilities, or at risk of homelessness. Scottish DHP covers bedroom tax in full.
