Privacy

We aim to collect as little data as possible. You can read every page on Due to You and run the triage tool without signing up, without cookies, and without sharing any personal information.

What we collect

Triage answers. When you run the triage tool, your answers are sent to our server only to compute your results. They are not written to our database, not logged with your identity, and not retained after the request. A copy is saved in your own browser (via localStorage) so you can resume within seven days; you can clear it any time by starting over or clearing site data in your browser.

Analytics. We use Plausible for anonymous, cookieless page-view analytics. Plausible does not use cookies, does not track visitors across sites, and does not collect any personal data. No IP addresses are stored in raw form.

Rate limits. To protect the triage endpoint from abuse we hash incoming IP addresses with a server-side secret and hold the hash for one hour. The raw IP is never written to disk. The hash cannot be reversed to recover the address.

Error monitoring. If something goes wrong, an error report may be sent to Sentry. We configure Sentry to scrub request bodies, headers, and URL parameters that could contain personal data.

What we do not collect

• No name, email, or National Insurance number unless you choose to contact us.
• No cross-site tracking cookies.
• No third-party advertising pixels.
• No account system, no login, no profile.

Legal basis

The minimal processing described above relies on our legitimate interests in running a usable, safe, public-interest information service. Because we do not hold records tied to you, we have nothing to retrieve, export, or delete on request — starting a new session clears every trace of the previous one from your browser.
